I am a master’s student under the advisement of Dr. Avgar focusing on the space-use ecology of Pronghorn in Utah. Specifically, I am going to be investigating their migratory behavior, critical habitat use, and impediments to their movement.
My research interests include quantifying animal behavior and population demography through movements, interactions, and the underlying ecological drivers. I am originally from New York where I received a BA from Purchase College in Environmental studies with a minor in Biology. My undergraduate thesis focused on the spatial, temporal, and demographic factors affecting mercury loading in sea turtles in the southeastern US. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, camping, birding, and painting
